Terry Wood

Terry Wood - President/CEO

Terry Wood was born in Cortland, New York and raised on a dairy farm in nearby DeRuyter. He attended the State University College at Cortland and obtained both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Physical Education. Subsequent to graduation he moved to Vestal where he worked as a Physical Education Teacher and Coach for eight years prior to moving into the private sector. He joined Willow Run Foods, Inc. in 1984 as a National Accounts Salesman and has remained with the company for 31 years. Mr. Wood was named President of Willow Run Foods in 1993 and CEO in 1996. He has been active in the Distribution Industry serving as a Director on the Board of UNIPRO, a national cooperative of foodservice distributors and as co-founder and past Chairman of USA, a strategic business unit for Systems Distributors aligned with UNIPRO. He also has been active in the community and currently serves as a Director on the Board of the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce and on the Southern Tier Advisory Board of M & T Bank. This year Mr. Wood was honored by the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce as the area’s Small Business Advocate of the Year.

Richard Koffs

Richard Koffs - Vice President Purchasing

Richard Koffs grew up in Philadelphia, PA and came to New York State to study Math and English at Hamilton College (’75). In 1978 he was working for a division of the Reynolds Metals Company in upstate NY when he was promoted to manager of their branch in Endwell, NY. In 1980 he joined Willow Run Foods to fill an opening in the purchasing department, becoming Vice President of Purchasing in 1984, and with 35 years of service is the 2nd longest tenured employee at Willow Run. Responsibility for Inventory Control was added to the purchasing group in 1996. And for the past 25 years he has administered Willow Run’s charitable contribution program, both as the “Key Person” representing the company’s United Way efforts, and coordinating donations to the regional food banks, area soup kitchens and benefit dinners for local organizations and individuals with cancer or other life threatening illnesses. Recently he was named Vice Chair by the United Way of Broome County of the 2014 Venture and Special Assistance Grant Committee. These grants allow United Way to help pilot new and innovative programs that they believe will create lasting community change.

James Donovan

James Donovan - Vice President Finance

James Donovan was born in Binghamton, NY and has resided here his entire life. He went to college at Manhattan College in New York City (a family tradition), where he worked towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He then returned to Binghamton where he worked for Coopers & Lybrand for four years (then one of the Big Eight Public Accounting firms), and obtained his CPA license. His move into private enterprise started at Lourdes Hospital for eight years as Controller, when he decided that working in an industry where you did not get a dollar back for each dollar you billed was not for him. He moved on to Azon Corporation as Vice President of Finance for 12 years, where technology caught up to the Company and it was another casualty of that sector. Mr. Donovan joined Willow Run Foods in 2004 as Vice President of Finance and has enjoyed every minute of working here. He currently resides in Vestal, NY and relishes spending all his time with his wife Cynthia, his four children and his 3 Grandchildren.

Carol Wallis

Carol Wallis - Vice President of Human Resources

Carol Wallis was born in Johnson City, New York and has resided in the village ever since. Carol received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Daemen College in Buffalo, New York and went on to receive her MBA with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Binghamton University. After graduating, Carol worked at Endicott Trust for 2 years getting her feet wet in the field of Human Resources. After the merger between Endicott Trust and M&T Bank, Carol worked briefly as a Credit Analyst for M&T, however, Human Resources was her passion. She left the bank to continue in the Human Resources field at Willow Run Foods and has been with the company since 1993. Carol also serves on the Board of Directors for the BOCES School To Careers program. As a Human Resources professional, raising two boys, Carol is very interested in a quality education for all students with an emphasis on career readiness skills. Carol is a physical fitness enthusiast spending any spare minutes at the gym.
